Loksee Privacy Policy

Introduction

Loksee is an AI browser and file management tool integrated with Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology. Loksee attaches great importance to user privacy and personal information protection. This Privacy Notice ("Policy") describes how Loksee Team (hereinafter referred to as "we", "our" or "us") collects, processes, and protects personal data about you when you use Loksee software and related services (including but not limited to AI browser, private cloud storage, AI scanning, AI toolbox, etc., collectively referred to as "the Services"), as well as how you can manage such information.

Please carefully read this Policy before using our Services. Your use of Loksee constitutes your full understanding and acceptance of all provisions of this Policy.

I. What Data Do We Collect?

To provide you with the Services, we need to collect the following types of information:

1.1 Information You Voluntarily Provide

• Account Information: You may choose to log in Loksee via third party account (such as Google or Apple ID), we will collect the public information authorized for sharing by that third-party platform (e.g., your avatar, nickname, your Google or Apple ID).
• User Content: Contents (including files, documents, photos, videos, images, text etc.) you upload, store, or back up to Loksee.
• AI Interaction Data:
  • AI Scanning: Document images you capture or upload for OCR recognition.
  • AI Conversations and Documents: Text instructions (Prompts) you enter when chatting with the AI assistant, and document you upload for summarization.
• Customer Support: your feedback, complaints, or inquiry content when contacting us.

1.2 Information We Automatically Collect

• Cloud Transfer Records: To execute your cloud transfer instructions, we need to collect the links (URLs) you submit to us. This data is only used to complete the service, and we will not permanently retain the browsing history of such URLs after the service is completed.
• Device Information: your device model, operating system version, Android ID, IP address, language settings, time zone.
• Usage Logs: your click records, feature usage frequency, crash logs, performance data.
• Clipboard Information: Upon your permission, we may only temporarily access your clipboard to extract links when you actively trigger the "Paste" or "Detect Link" function within the app.
• Advertising identifiers: To support Loksee's operations, we may display advertisements within the app. The advertising platforms we access may collect your advertising identifiers (GAID/IDFA), approximate location information, device parameters, and ad interaction data to show you more relevant advertisements.

II. How Do We Use Your Data?

We collect your information mainly for the following purposes:

• Provide Services: We use your information to provide the account verification, file storage and management, data transfer, web page rendering services, etc.
• Provide AI Features: we may use your inputs (e.g., images, text) to AI models for processing to return the results you need. Loksee promises that your data (such as uploaded documents, private cloud storage files) will not be used to train public AI models unless we obtain your explicit authorization.
• Personalized Advertising: Display advertisements that may be of interest to you through third-party SDKs based on your device identifiers and approximate location.
• Security and Compliance: Scan and block illegal content and prevent fraud, abuse, and malicious attacks.

III. How and when we share your personal data

We may share your personal data as follows:

- With cloud services providers and analytics vendors in order to provide you the Services.

- With advertisers and third-party measurement companies to show how many users of the App have clicked on that advertisement. In addition to the above, some of our partners may also collect data through their own SDKs to help us provide data analysis, advertising operations and better product improvements.

The main advertising SDKs we integrate include but are not limited to:

1. TopOn: An ad mediation platform used to manage and optimize ad display.
2. Google AdMob: Provides ad display services.
3. Meta Audience Network (Facebook): Provides social media-related advertising services.
4. Other cooperative ad networks such as Pangle (TikTok Ads), AppLovin, and Unity Ads.

We use the following SDKs to optimize product performance, count user activity, and provide specific features:

1. Google Firebase: Used for crash reporting (Crashlytics), user behavior analysis, and push notifications.
2. Google Account Login SDK: Used to support users in one-click login with their Google accounts.

These third-party SDKs have their own independent privacy policies. We recommend that you read the privacy policies of the relevant third parties to understand their data processing methods.

- With security service provider to prevent someone from cheating or affecting the normal operation of the App.

- With law enforcement agencies, public authorities or other third parties if we consider that we are legally required to do so or if such use is reasonably necessary to:

• comply with a legal process or request;
• enforce our terms, policies and guidelines, including investigation of any potential violation;
• detect, prevent or otherwise address abuse, fraud, illegal activity or security or technical issues; or
• protect the rights, property or safety of us, our users, a third party or the public as required or permitted by law (including exchanging information with other companies and organizations for the purposes of fraud protection and credit risk reduction).

IV. Data Storage and Transmission

4.1 Global Storage

Loksee adopts a global architecture to ensure the speed and stability of the Services. Your data will be mainly stored in data centers in the United States and Singapore, and may be accelerated and distributed by our servers in other regions around the world based on your location.

4.2 Cross-Border Transmission

By using Loksee, you agree that your personal information may be transmitted to servers outside the country where you reside for processing. We will take industry-standard technical measures (such as encrypted transmission) to ensure the security of data during transmission.

4.3 Storage Period

1. We will retain your data for as long as necessary to provide the Services.
2. Account Deletion: After you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information as required by law. We may also retain records to investigate or defend against potential legal claims, deal with any complaints or official enquiries or investigations regarding the Services, or maintain business records for analysis and/or audit purposes.

V. Children's Privacy Protection

Loksee's Services are not intended for children under the age of 13 (or the minimum age specified by local law). We will not intentionally collect personal information from children. In the event that we are notified that we have collect personal data from a child of or under the age of 13 (or such legally required age of consent as defined under applicable laws) without parental consent, we will suspend the account and delete relevant information as quickly as possible. VI. Your Rights

Pursuant to applicable law, you have the following rights:

• Access and Correction: You can view and modify your personal profile within the app.
• Right to Delete: You can delete specific files in the cloud storage or request to cancel your entire account.
• Manage Advertising Preferences: You can reset your advertising identifier (Reset Advertising ID) or enable "Limit Ad Tracking" in your device settings to reduce the display of personalized advertisements (but this will not reduce the total number of advertisements).
• Data Export: You have the right to request an export of a copy of your personal data.

VII. Policy Updates

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. For material changes, we will notify you through in-app pop-ups, announcements. Your continued use of the Services constitutes your acceptance of the updated Policy.
